People actually gave feedback

March 23, 2014

After going through security at London Heathrow Airport, I was drawn to notice this kiosk after someone pressed the button. I went on to investigate a little further and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to give feedback: just press a happy face, OK face, could be better face, and unhappy face. After I pressed the button, someone else quickly came by and pressed it too.

Taking this one step further, it would have been great to see a running total of votes and whether it amounted to it being happy or not that day. This sort of feedback would have made me feel that it didn’t go into a black box somewhere. Crowd participation was enough to help egg me on in this instance.
